Our mission is to raise awareness, inspire action, strengthen community, and empower long-term solutions.

Our Story

We are a group of high school students concerned about the recently projected rise of sea levels and the threat they could pose to our communities in San Diego. To protect our coastlines, we formed Project RISE, an organization dedicated to informing the public about the dangers associated with coastal erosion by hosting events designed to engage San Diego Citizens in environmental causes.

Our organization is working with the San Diego City Council, the Surfrider Foundation, the Aspen Challenge, and many others with similar values and goals as us.
